More than just code

Bytechat was founded by Douwe and Jesse, two friends with a shared passion for new technology. During our studies in Communication & Multimedia Design, we learned a crucial lesson that forms the basis of our company: focus not only on the software, but on the interaction between human and machine.

After all, it is people who use our product. That infectious ambition drove us towards entrepreneurship. Where we challenge each other during bouldering to climb the hardest routes, we challenge each other professionally to build the most user-friendly AI solution in the Netherlands.

Away with frustration

We all know it: chatbots that give standard answers that are of no use to you. The result? Frustrated customers who just want to speak to a human. For companies, however, customer service is a huge cost center full of repetitive questions.

Bytechat solves this by putting accessibility first. The current market in the Netherlands is divided: tools are either extremely complex and expensive, or too simple and ineffective. We fill that gap. Because we are AI experts ourselves, we build everything ourselves. No cobbled-together systems (AI slop), but high-quality code with human quality control.

Our gaze is fixed on the horizon. We are expanding first to the Benelux and then internationally. Our goal is clear: to become the standard for AI customer service for SME companies.

But we go further than just service. We are developing Bytechat into a proactive sales instrument. With innovative models—where customers only pay for actual value—we make entry risk-free. In addition, we are rolling out a whitelabel solution for web agencies, so that they too can use the power of Bytechat for their clients.
