Human Handoff
With the Human Handoff feature, Bytechat will transfer conversations to a human employee when needed by requesting contact details and forwarding the conversation.
Enable Human Handoff
Follow these steps to enable Human Handoff in Bytechat:
- Access the configuration screen: Log in to your Bytechat dashboard and navigate to the "Configuration" tab.
- Go to the Features section: Click "Features" in the side menu to open the relevant settings.
- Enable Human Handoff: Look for the "Human Handoff" option and click it to allow Bytechat to transfer conversations to human employees.
After enabling Human Handoff, Bytechat will automatically collect contact details from users when a conversation is transferred. This includes the user's name and email address. You can then view and follow up on these conversations in your Bytechat dashboard under the "Activity" tab.
